Ballybunion tunes up for a killer Queen experience

NOSTAGLIC Kerry music fans are in for a treat on the double this month as Ballybunion’s Tinte·n Theatre welcomes not one but two blasts from the past.

Killer Queen a tribute band of the world famous Queen has been heralded as a real life Bohemian Rhapsody and the nearest thing to the real that fans are likely to get.

They play the Ballybunion venue this Saturday, June 16, bringing the legendary Freddie Mercury and the sound of a whole generation back to the stage.

And fans of a different era should check out Dance Hall Q’s & Huckle-buck Shoes which play the same venue on Friday, June 22 and Saturday, June 23.

The unique musical features Richard Rock, Clau-dine Day and Brian Dunphy, and invites audiences to relive the dance hall days all over again.

Tickets for Killer Queen start from ¤10 and from ¤20 for Dance Hall Q’s & Hucklebuck Shoes.
