THE Kerry Coastal One Design Championships in Waterville on Sunday took the pride of place in the rowing calendar as the attention of the county shifted towards South Kerry.
In keeping with the multiple of regattas that have already taken the country by storm over the past few weeks, thE Waterville meet will be ranked up there with the best following an exciting day of action.
The weather, in keeping with this summer, was far from ideal but all the crews made light of the poor conditions to serve up a feast of rowing that will take a lot to be rivalled.
