Garda awards
THE People of the Year Awards, organised by Rehab, is seeking nominations from members of the public for a special new award category this year – Garda of the Year.
The new award follows on previous special awards including teacher of the year, nurse of the year and Ireland’s greatest living musician, among others.
The members of An Garda Síochána provide an essential service to our country 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year, in protecting our communities and keeping us safe.
This award seeks to honour those members who have acted far above and beyond the call of duty.
